Major changes - Development on hold

Hey WhereIsMyPot-heads,

Much is up in the air currently regarding a package that has been a part of all releases of aBluntOr2.  The primary developer of remastersys has stepped down, and stopped supporting it. As such, development of aBluntOr2 has been put on hold while we decide what to do about remastersys.

Some thoughts:
  • We may try to build a simpler script-fork (in user's home and /etc/skel) to process the same functionality, but not be part of package-management.
  • Or, there is a fork being created for OS4, but this may pull other "dependencies" from their repo (once they release it) that may not be desired in aBluntOr2.
  • We may decide to create our own forked package. However, to make our own package fork, we would need to first create our own supplemental repository.
We have been planning to create a sup-reop for a while, as it also gives us the ability to build/distribute artwork (and other) packages not included in the default repositories of other distributions.

Needless to say, this affects our development, and will take some time to resolve regardless of method.

Check back for updates.
